English as a Medium of Instruction

As part of efforts to enhance students' English proficiency, the College of Management at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has implemented English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) to create a high-quality bilingual learning environment. The goal is to cultivate bilingual professionals in the field of management, increase global mobility, and enhance competitiveness.

English Improvement Program

Official TOEIC scores can be used for further study and English course exemption.

The College of Management is collaborating with the TOEIC company to provide free TOEIC testing (pre-test) for sophomore students in our college. Participating students can use the free online courses provided by the TOEIC company for self-study in the spring semester of the 2022 academic year, and take another test (post-test) at the end of the semester. The test results will be analyzed and compared to understand the students' learning effectiveness over the semester.
