As part of efforts to enhance students' English proficiency, the College of Management at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) has implemented English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) to create a high-quality bilingual learning environment. The goal is to cultivate bilingual professionals in the field of management, increase global mobility, and enhance competitiveness. To this end, the School of Management at Nation Taiwan University of Science and Technology has designed an online EMI Learning Passport specifically for students. Through the platform of the online EMI Learning Passport, students will be able to record learning progress and motivate learning , while also having the convenience of reviewing their EMI experiences in a comprehensive manner. Upon reaching a certain standard, student will awarded an official EMI certificate.

The English teaching materials are compiled based on books and articles recommended by the professor. After reading the article and slide in detail, please download the Quiz template, complete it, and upload the completed file when finished. You may refer to the suggested answers during answering.
- EMI活動 EMI Activity
Students can earn EMI points by submitting proof of attendance or a reflection paper of EMI-related activities, such as the ESG lecture series, The Economist online sustainability forum, etc.
- 修課紀錄 Course Credit
In the fall semester of the 2022 academic year, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology offers many EMI courses, which are also recognized as one of the standards for certificate achievement.

- Online point-based learning passport
The learning passport is presented in an online format, which is connected to a database that records course history, activity participation, and other related information. The learning process will be recorded in real-time on the online passport.


- Activity record list
The system directly integrates EMI activities and course records, presented in a CV-like format, which is convenient for students to apply for further study or job opportunities in the future.
- EMI certificate
When the digital passport reaches 100 points, students can apply for an official EMI certificate from the College of Management, which serves as evidence of their English proficiency.
